Personal Interests:

Throughout high school and undergrad, I participated in the marching band by playing the flute and being a member of the danceline, and I am continuing my dance education here in Oregon at Ballet Fantastique. I enjoy activities like running with my dog, hiking, playing video games with my boyfriend, sewing/knitting, and reading.

Biography

I am from Albertville, Alabama (better known as Sand Mountain) and obtained a dual Bachelor's Degree in chemistry and physics with a minor in dance from Troy University. My undergraduate research was physics based and focused on acoustics and electrical resistance in tin oxide crystals. I started at OSU in Fall 2019 and have been accepted into Dr. Susan Tilton's lab. My thesis research will be focused on studying environmental toxicants in the human bronchial epithelium cell model.
