Academic Interests:

My research centers on predictive mechanistic molecular toxicology, with an emphasis on using chemical structure to forecast biological activity and toxicity. I integrate structure-based modeling and transcriptomic profiling to identify potential toxicants and their mechanisms of action, and use the embryonic zebrafish as a powerful in vivo system for validating these predictions through phenotypic and molecular endpoints. My current work focuses on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as a model chemical class to develop and refine structure-function approaches for broader application in chemical risk assessment.
