Graduate Program![]() The Environmental and Molecular Toxicology (EMT) Graduate Program offers an intensive course of study leading to the M.S. or Ph.D. degree in toxicology. It is a combined initiative of the Oregon State University EMT Department and the Center for Research on Occupational and Environmental Toxicology (CROET) of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU, Portland, Oregon). Students must register and take required general toxicology coursework at OSU before specializing in one of four program areas listed below. Students take additional courses and conduct their dissertation research at either institution. While OSU-EMT coordinates the first three listed program areas and CROET sponsors the neurotoxicology program area, mentors for any of the four program areas may be found at either institution.
