Curriculum.

The curriculum provides students with a fundmental knowledge of toxicology that prepares them for responsible positions in research and development, academia, goverment, professional services, or research foundation. The curriculum is designed to strengthen the student's training in basic science as well as provide a solid background in toxicology. In addition to completing appropriate coursework, students will undertake a thesis research project relating to some aspect of toxicology or environmental health.

For the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, students are required to take a core curriculum plus elective courses connected with their particular area of specialization. In addition to completing appropriate course work, students will undertake a thesis research project related to some aspect of toxicology. Participation in the seminar program (a 1 hour/week seminar) is mandatory.
